Jean from MO I got this dance From: KEN LASKY Here are Ken's notes. You start the dance in what I was told was called "Indian Position" where the man is directly behind the lady. She has her hands with palms up one her shoulders, and the guy is holding her hands. It feels awkward. I think that's why I might have posted the first version the way I did, because I thought starting in side-by-side would be better. However, you DON'T start in side-by-side, you DO start with the man directly behind the lady.
